The Abela Centre for Olfactory Art is dedicated to Exploring Culture, Art & Olfaction in Africa through Scents & Storytelling.
The center offers services like;
- Book sniff & create experience,
- Visit the olfactory art gallery,
- Visit the olfaction library,
- Fragrance academy courses and the
- Exhibitions & events
We will focus on the sniff and create experience.
You will start by booking a session Here. You’ll get to choose a convenient day. It costs N6,000 for 1 hr 45 minutes.
The experience begins with a tour where a perfume guide explains how the different perfume notes work. Afterward, you will be allowed to do some perfume note sampling before you create yours. You can also create diffusers. You are free to name your creation and even make it in bulk quantities if you decide to resell.
Please note that creating your own Perfume or Diffuser comes at an Additional Fee based on the bottle size and the scent notes you mix.
Prices for perfumes — Average minimum of 30ml N30,999. While Diffusers — 100ml is N18,000. (other packaging include- 100ml, 50ml, 250ml)
You also get a certificate for your creations (perfume/diffuser) with a serial number that would enable Abela to recreate your perfume formula whenever you come back for a refill.
This is an experience you can try by yourself or with friends.
