This old gem have been in existence for over a decade. Despite the flux of new restaurants sprouting up in Lagos, they’ve managed to keep their A game and focus mainly on Nigerian delicacies.
The ambience is welcoming and the decor has a rustic theme. They successfully infused African aesthetics into this spot. If you’re an Ofada Lover, you should checkout this affordable restaurant in Surulere. The space is beautiful. unlike other local theme restaurants, it lack local aesthetics since they sell mainly local delicacies.
They sell various kinds of Ofada, like;
- Seafood Ofada: This particular meal was a good deal; it had a well-sized snail, enough shrimp, and a satisfying portion of rice and plantains. The seafood Ofada sauce tasted like Ofada but more like a ‘janded’ version, and it didn’t have the local taste.
- Regular Ofada: This was a decent meal and was served with Ofada sauce, assorted meal, kpomo, egg, and plantains.
